REEDIN SUPERNATURAL
Reedin has focused on making SuperNatural highly efficient. To achieve this, improvements were made to the unique Triple layer LE construction, reducing weight while increasing stiffness in crucial zones of the center of the Leading Edge where most of the efforts are concentrated. The stiffness of the wing will amaze riders right from the first pumps.
The wing’s profile was designed using Reedin’s new and unique 100% vertical seams, which run all the way to the front of the wing to eliminate any shear transversal load on any seam. This feature increases the canopy’s stiffness, making it a very direct and tight wing when in the rider’s hands, ensuring longevity.
Reedin has meticulously designed every piece of material to ensure the best weight to power ratio. The new oval section rigid handles provide exceptional control over the wing and take maneuvers from first tacks to air rotations to a whole new level.
The design objectives focused on efficiency, stability, power, natural positive lift, and forward drive. This was achieved through a specific Arc shape, a stiff frame for direct response, a unique profile for natural lift, and a wing that flares out naturally to fly forward as soon as the wind flows through. The tensioned canopy throughout the wing provides a very direct response and minimizes flutter when sheeted out or riding free-fly, providing unprecedented stability and allowing riders to focus 100% on their riding.
